Kathy Lindberg, board-certified music therapist is promoting overall health and well-being of individuals in Ohio. Passionate about helping individuals with special needs through music, she created her new company, Melisma Music Therapy Services.
Founded in February 2008, Melisma Music Therapy Services provides music therapy and customized music lessons to both healthy individuals and those dealing with physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual challenges. The company's mission is three-fold: To provide the highest quality music therapy services to special needs individuals, groups, and clinical facilities in Ohio, to increase awareness of music therapy and its benefits through workshops, presentations, and published works, and to foster the musicianship of individuals within our community.
